Booking Policy

Please Carefully Review Our Booking Policies Before Scheduling Your Appointment


To All Our Cherished Clients:


Our policies are applied uniformly, without exceptions, to ensure fairness and clarity in our booking process. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.


Deposits & Cancellations:

  • Deposits: Required for all appointments and are non-refundable. Deposits will be credited towards your service cost. Should you need to cancel, deposits can be applied to a future booking if you notify us more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

  • Cancellation Notice: Please inform us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid additional fees.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within the 48-hour window require a $20 fee and a new deposit to rebook.


Managing Your Appointment:
To cancel or reschedule, please use the same email you booked with to create an account on our site. This allows you to manage your appointments easily. If changes can't be made online, it's due to the 48-hour policy, and you should contact us directly.


No-Shows:
Missing your appointment without notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and the inability to book future appointments. To rebook after a no-show, full payment of the missed service plus the new service is required upfront. We reserve the right to refuse service to repeat no-shows.


Late Arrivals:
Arriving late will shorten your service time; we cannot extend appointments due to late starts. Please plan to arrive on time to enjoy the full experience.


Payment:
Payment is due at your appointment. We accept cash, all major credit/debit cards, and Apple Pay. Please note, e-transfers and cryptocurrencies are not accepted.


Additional Services:

  • Foreign Fills: There's an additional $20 charge.

  • Coloured Lashes & Lash Decals: Available for an extra $10.


Booking with Our Artists:
Ensure you select the correct service provider (Senior or Junior Lash Artist) when booking. Pricing varies based on the artist's level, and incorrect selections will be adjusted to the appropriate rate.


For Our Returning Clients:

  • Refills: If you have 40%+ lashes after 1-3 weeks, book a Refill.

  • Extended Fill: 20-40% of lashes after 1-3 weeks requires an Extended Fill.

  • Full Set: Over 3.5 weeks (25 days) or less than 20% of lashes necessitates booking a Full Set.

  • Mini Fill: Within 7 days of your last appointment with 70%+ lashes, opt for a Mini Fill. Below 70% counts as a Regular Fill, regardless of the timing.


New Clients:

  • For a fresh start or if you have 0-100% of another technician's work, book a Removal + Full Set.

  • Foreign Fill: If you have 40%+ of another technician's work, you can opt for this service. Below 40% requires a Removal + Full Set.

Store Policy

Welcome to Lashes by Shan! We're committed to ensuring you have a delightful shopping experience with us. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our store policy to make your shopping seamless and satisfying.


Product Sales & Returns:

  • All purchases made at Lashes by Shan are considered final. We do not offer refunds.

  • Exchanges are permitted exclusively for items that arrive defective or damaged from their original condition. Please note, Lashes by Shan cannot be held accountable for any damage incurred during shipping.


Shipping & Handling:

  • For security reasons, we ship orders only to matching billing and shipping addresses. Orders with differing addresses will unfortunately be canceled.

  • Shipping confirmations, along with a tracking link, will be emailed within 48 hours of placing your order, utilizing either Canada Post or FedEx for delivery.

  • Allow 1-2 business days for your order to be processed. The shipping timeline starts once the order is dispatched. Note: Processing and shipping times are distinct.


Please Remember:

  • During peak periods like holidays and sales, processing times may extend. We appreciate your patience and understanding, as no refunds or exchanges are provided for processing delays.

  • Responsibility for the package transfers to the shipping carrier once dispatched. For lost or stolen packages, please contact the carrier directly. Any inquiries about package contents or quality should be directed to Lashes by Shan.

  • To avoid disappointment, please avoid last-minute orders. We are not liable for shipping delays or pickup arrangements that do not meet immediate needs. Orders will not be refunded or canceled based on these terms.

  • Ensure the accuracy of your shipping address. Incorrect addresses leading to returned packages will require a re-shipment fee at the customer's expense. Shipping fees are non-refundable if the order is canceled.


Stock & Inventory:

  • Our website inventory is updated regularly for your shopping convenience.

  • In the rare event an ordered item is out of stock, we will offer a comparable replacement or issue a refund for the specific item. Refunds are not available once an item has shipped.


Pickup Orders:

  • Pickup orders will be ready within 24-48 hours of order placement. A confirmation email will be sent when your order is ready.

  • Orders must be picked up within 30 days from the ready notification email. Unclaimed orders after this period will be canceled without a refund.

Training Policy

Thank you for your interest in our training programs at Lashes by Shan. We're excited to guide you on your journey to becoming a lash expert. To ensure a smooth and successful start to your training, please review our policy regarding bookings and payments:


Booking and Deposits:

  • A deposit is required to book any training session. This deposit secures your spot and is applied towards the total cost of your training.

  • Please note, deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. We understand life happens, so if you need to reschedule, we're here to accommodate. Deposits can be transferred to a new training date provided you notify us at least 10 DAYS before your originally scheduled date.

  • If a cancellation occurs less than 10 days before the scheduled training, the deposit will not be valid for a future date. To reschedule under these circumstances, a new deposit will be required.


Payment Information:
The deposit for your training can be made online, with the remaining balance due on the first day of your training. For the balance, we accept cash payments in person or a card payment via an online invoice, which must be settled before the first day of your training.


We designed this policy to be fair and accommodating while ensuring we can provide high-quality training sessions to all our students. Your understanding and adherence to this policy are much appreciated.
